SSL offloading can be done at the load balancer.This minimizes the overhead of maintaining SSL certificates.
From the Load balancer or Apache Proxy or OHS,set the http
header WL-Proxy-SSL to true.
Changes to be done in weblogic

Go to web logic console and click Preferences->Shared Preferences (banner at the top of the initial
console splash page).
There is a field called "Follow Configuration Changes" and is enabled by default. This setting should be disabled so that the console does not trigger a reload of configuration pages when an
activation of changes occurs.
Deselect the "Follow Configuration Changes" checkbox .

Got to Admin and Managed servers and under general tab click
Advanced and select yes in Web logic Plugin Enabled drop down.
